Tara and the Little Stars, LIGHT // SOUND, Dusty Santamaria + Moira Ichiban

Tara and The Little Stars are glam punk with a bunch of silly boys and one lead Stara

LIGHT // SOUND is the work by writer / singer / songwriter Daniel Amedee. Daniel has been writing and performing for the last ten years. From 2008 to 2011 he was living in Ireland, writing and playing bass in an Indie Rock band called Remma. The band was signed for a time to Morrissey's Attack Label and had an EP produced by Noel Hogan of The Cranberries. In 2012, he started touring full time under his own name and released two LP's and two EP's that featured performances by Pat Spurgeon of Rogue Wave and Sylvain Carton of Beats Antique. The music was described as meditative with an edge and urban folk. He spent 2012 to 2016 touring the US and Canada full time. In 2017 he moved back to his hometown, New Orleans, to begin work on LIGHT // SOUND.

Dusty Santamaria + Moira Ichiban released their debut album, Love Under Will, on their Voodoo It Yourself label in early 2018; they spent the remainder of the year touring DIY circuits of the Western United States and Europe. Currently based in the Southern California desert, the husband and wife duo draw influence from mid-century R&B, post-punk, the surrealist movement and ritual magick. Ichiban’s primitive drum style and Santamaria’s swamp-water guitars serve as a backdrop for vivid, figurative lyrics. Ablaze with shouts, shudders and symbolism, their sound has been described as ‘Avant Garage Voo-Doo-Wop’.
